The ‘Cape Talk Pitts’ is a single Pitts operation based out of Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands. The S2A with a 200hp lycoming engine is flown by SAAf trained pilot Stephen Hugh. 36 Year old Stephen Hugh flew for seven years with the SAAF Silver Falcons and is currently a First Officer on the Boeing 747 Classic with South African Airways. |
The second member of the team is First Officer Mike Fagan who flies for SAA on the Boeing 737. 41 Year old Mike Fagan trained with the SAAF as a Helicopter Driver.
The team have a display contract with 567 Cape Talk Radio and the pitts is used for display work around Cape Town, including Airshows and Special Events.

The Cape Talk Aerobatics program uses an S2A Pitts Sepcial. This is an unlimited aerobatic machine which allows us to do an exciting vertical and horizontal show. We at Cape Talk Aerobatics are developing a Virtual Story Board to give the browser an insight into the "How we do the manouvers' Visit here often to check out the development of the site.
The 567 Cape Talk Pitts is equipped with numerous camera mounts which we are going to put to good use over the next few months as we develop the Anti Drug Video. The Anti Drug Video is going to be used as part of the Cape Talk Community outreach program in the year 2000. Reaching into the local Cape Town schools it is going to have a hard punchy and clear message...
